We did our PADI refresh course here and I cannot recommend it enough!! All the staff are really kind, relaxed, patient, funny and knowledgeable. The gear is good. We dove in small groups so that was really nice for the personal attention and good feeling underwater. During the refresher we went to Marie Pampoen and saw amazing wildlife underwater! We liked the school so much after the refresh course that we also booked a morning of guided diving, to Tugboat and Director’s Bay and that was amazing as well!! AMAZING dive school!! Plus a cute cat. Oh and you get cookies when you get out of the water 🙂
This place is amazing!! Both me and my sister did the Open Water Scuba Certification. Our instructor was Jillian and she was super helpful and friendly. Our course was 2.5 days long, and was mainly just my party of two diving. First day started with technical skills in Marie Pampoen and then an hour long dive of the area. We wrapped up at around 11 am. Second day started with around 3-4 of skill in Marie Pampoen (all 4 confined water dives) and then we headed back for lunch(which was provided.) Afterwards we went to Atlantis for an hour long dive. The last day was a dive at the Tugboat site, with a few skills, and then a final fun dive in Directors Bay. We had an amazing experience with Scubacao and hope to visit again!! Couldn’t recommend them more 🤿🤿
Went on a two tank dive as open water diver. I had the BEST time and cannot recommend this group enough. Got my dream of diving with a sea turtle. Quincy, our dive guide was very easy going, made sure we didn’t miss a thing under the water and he also knew all the answers to any questions regarding the history of curaçao and the aquatic life. We also had photographer come along and she did a great job!

By Carolina Marcías @girldivestheworld As a professional dive instructor, the ocean has always been my sanctuary. However, when I discovered I was pregnant, I knew I had to temporarily hang up my fins. Diving during pregnancy is a topic where safety comes first. “Reef-Safe Sunscreen” Can Still Harm Coral
Picture this: you’ve just emerged from an invigorating early morning dive, greeted by the warmth of the sun on your face and the shimmering waters around you. Awaiting you on the boat is a steaming cup of coffee, and with the holiday tan calling, you decide to apply some reef-safe sunscreen. After all, who wants to deal with the discomfort of neoprene on sunburn? You’re not alone — so many of us, including the Reef-World team, prioritise packing reef-safe sunscreen before venturing into the water.
Mermaid diving is a world with one foot in reality and the other in fantasy. Mermaid lore originated centuries ago, yet even today, the myths tickle our imaginations. Water lovers, young and old, fantasize about living as mermaids – but unlike most such fantasies, this one we can make real – well, almost real. Mermaid equipment and costuming let us bridge fiction and fact, opening the door to this mystical culture through mermaid diving.
